Vintage Longines Conquest Ultronic Day-Date 1970s

Year: 1970s
Movement: original signed, Cal. 6332 quartz 300 hz turning fork movement

This Longines Conquest Ultronic is pure '70s tech: a stainless steel cushion case that sits on the wrist like a mini TV, combined with a 300 Hz tuning fork movement. This means no ticking, but rather a quiet hum and a buttery smooth second sweep.

The blue dial offers maximum legibility, and tritium blocks and angular hands provide subtle retro luminescence. The movement—Longines Cal. 6332, ESA 9164—adjusts the date every half-second and runs with quartz precision without being quartz. The watch was tested with a new battery; the humming sound is clean.
