This later version of the Hamilton Piping Rock in a 14K solid natural gold case features an exquisitely detailed black enamel bezel, gold Roman numeral insets, and fixed lugs. Although remarkably similar to the earlier Piping Rock, a few key differences include a minimalistic dial, fixed lugs, blued steel index style hands, and a recessed movement housing where access to the movement is gained through the front of the watch as opposed to the back case. This is a beautiful watch showcasing a new glass crystal, sterling silver dial, and new genuine lizard straps in brown. The watch measures 28mm wide (excluding the crown) x 43mm in length from lug to lug. Beneath the dial is an adjusted Hamilton grade 747 manual hand winding movement with 17 jewels that runs strong and kept good time over a 24 hour period. The inside case reads: Piping Rock, Hamilton W. Co., 14K, Lancaster PA, . This wristwatch sets and winds smoothly and is ready to serve as your timekeeper for years to come
